We have years of claims data from which we have developed cost-reduction strategies for our clients.

This is the Power of Knowing the Data:

Lower Overall Costs

A real-world example of our system at work for one of our clients.

Image of bar graph demonstrating Average Costs for Family Coverage from 2012 to 2019. Average fully insured premiums went up 5.6% per year, our client's self-insured costs only by 2.1%

*Data derived from California Health Care Foundation’s California Employer Health Benefits 2017 and 2018 publications, from Kaiser Family Foundation for 2019 data, and from the Los Angeles Times for 2020-2021. We adjusted average premiums to a plan that is comparable to our client’s (similar to a high-end Gold Plan).

Lower Medication Costs

From the data we are able to see less costly alternatives to get approved from employees’ doctors.

Here’s one example for common Type 2 Diabetes medication, Metformin:

Image of white letters on black background. Metformin 90 Day Supply with standard costs of $2,297 and a cheaper alternative of $90, chemically the same.

Lower Hospital Costs

Powerpoint slide that says inpatient hospital cost per night with a regional average of $7,395.19 and a lowest in region cost of $1,109.00
Powerpoint slide that says comparable outpatient hospital procedure with a regional average of $11,332.35 and a lowest in region cost of $4,517.
